Rocky Point

Beautiful views of Lake Almanor and Lassen Peak can be seen from Rocky Point Campground, located among the Ponderosa Pines in Plumas County, one of Northern California's most scenic areas. Several campsites are available for reservations, which can be booked from the PGE website. Other sites remain first-come, first-served. Many of the camping spots are on the shoreline of Lake Almanor, best known for its boating, fishing and water-skiing. Biking or walking the paved Lake Almanor Recreation Trail reveals a wide variety of birds, beautiful scenery and boundless wildlife in the area.
