Big Bend Group Campground

Big Bend Group Campground is located right off I-80 on Old Highway 40, behind Big Bend U.S. Forest Service Fire Station. There are two group campsites with tables, group fire rings and grills with vault toilets and potable water. Campground is available for both RV and tent camping (however, there are NO RV hookups or amenities, size restrictions on RV may apply). Enjoy swimming and fishing on the south Yuba River. Day hiking and back packing nearby at the Loch Leven Trailhead.

Normally facility operates Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Operation may change depending on weather conditions. Contact Tahoe National Forest for current information at (530)265-4531.

Directions

From I-80 east: Take Big Bend exit and head east 1/4 mile to campground.

 From I-80 west: Take Rainbow Road exit and continue west 1 1/2 miles to campground.

Campground is located behind the U.S. Forest Service Fire Station.
