City of Bend Source Springs Diversion Special Use Permit Issuance
The Forest has received a request from the City of Bend to issue a new permit to authorize the existing use of their surface water diversion facility, which diverts water from springs to Bridge Creek, as a component of the city's drinking water system. There are no proposed changes to the existing system. The Deschutes National Forest Supervisor is the Responsible Official.
