Zayo Fiber Optic Cable Installation
Zayo proposes to install 32 miles of fiber cable along Hwy 97 within the existing ODOT Right of Way. And additional 1.5 miles would cross the Fremont-Winema NF. This is part of a larger project to install broadband from Prineville, OR to Reno, NV.

The project follow Hwy 97 within the ODOT Right of Way, from the Forest Service boundary South of Bend, OR to Hwy 31 just outside of La Pine, OR. It then follows Hwy 31 to the Forest Service Boundary.
