  • Motorized, Stock, Bicycle and Seasonal Trail Closures - Forestwide or multi district

    Pursuant to 36 CFR Section 261.SO(b), the following acts are prohibited in order to promote public safety and protect Forest lands and resources within the Wenatchee National Forest and the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest , administered by the Wenatchee National Forest, on development trails described in this order, until further notice. (1) Using any motorized vehicle on the Chelan, Cle Elum, Entiat, Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, and Nache s Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT A attached. 36 CFR 261.SS(b). (2) Using 4-wheel drive vehicles on trails, except motorcycles and over-the-snow machines, on Chelan, Cle Elum, and Entiat Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT B attached. 36 CFR 261.SS(b). (3) Possessing or using a saddle, pack, or draft animal on the Chelan, Cle Elum, Entiat, Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, and Naches Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT C attached. 36 CFR 261 .SS(c). (4) Using a bicycle on the Cle Elum and Lake Wenatchee Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT D att ached. 36 CFR 261. 55 (b). (5) Seasonal Closures - using any motorized vehicle or possessing or using a saddle, pack, or draft animal on the Entiat and Lake Wenatchee Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT E attached . 36 CFR 261.SS(b) and 261.SS(c). (6) Seasonal Closures -using any motorized vehicle on the Cle Elum and Leavenworth Ranger District trails listed in EXHIBIT F attached. 36 CFR 261.SS(b) and 261.SS(c). (7) Using any motorized vehicle, with 3 or more wheels, on trails within the Wenatchee National Forest. 36 CFR 261.SS(c). (8) Using any motorized vehicle on the Wenatchee National Forest where the land allocation is Dispersed Recreation , Unroaded, Non-Motorized (RE- 3) as identified in the Wenatchee National Forest Land and Resource Management Pan . Trails listed in EXHIBIT G attached. 36 CFR 261.55 (b). Pursuant to 36 CFR Section 261 .SO(e ), the following persons are exempt from this order: (1) Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting f orce in the performance of an official duty . (2) Persons with a permit.
