The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, and numerous other federal, state, county, and local fire control organizations, work together when wildfires occur to keep fire related damage to a minimum.
