Wildfire Mitigation Contracting Workshop

Discover New Business Opportunities in Wildfire & Fuels Mitigation

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Wenatchee CAFE, and Cascadia Conservation District and Prescribed Burn Association are teaming up to host a workshop designed for local contractors, and anyone interested in becoming one, who want to explore work opportunities in wildfire and fuels mitigation.

If your business specializes in landscaping, agriculture, forestry, or similar services and you’re curious about expanding into a growing field, this workshop is a great place to start. It’s also ideal for entrepreneurs looking to break into a new line of work that directly supports community safety and forest health.

What to Expect

• Hear directly from Forest Service and Cascadia about the types of mitigation work they have available
• Learn how available work is advertised and how to bid on available contracts
• Connect with Wenatchee CAFE for small-business support and guidance through the contracting process
