Lake Chelan Dock Site Permits
Boats that use federal docks on Lake Chelan are required to display a "Lake Chelan Federal Dock Site" permit. A daily permit costs $10 while a season permit costs $75. Twelve docks managed by the U.S. Forest Service and the National Park Service require dock permits--Mitchell Creek, Deer Point, Graham Harbor, Prince Creek, Domke Falls, Refrigerator Harbor, Lucerne, Moore Point, Purple Point, Weaver Point, Stehekin Landing, and Manley Wham.
Dock permits may be purchased at:
- Chelan Ranger District Office, 428 W. Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA − (509) 682-4900
- Forest Headquarters office, 215 Melody Lane, Wenatchee, WA − (509) 664-9200
- Hooked on Toys, 1444 N. Wenatchee Ave, Wenatchee, WA − (509) 663-0740
- Kelly's Hardware, 128 E. Woodin Ave, Chenal, WA − (509)-682-2815
- Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, 216 E. Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA − (509) 682-3503
- Lodge at Stehekin, 1 Stehekin Landing, Stehekin WA − (509) 699-2056
Funds collected by the sale of dock permits have been used to repair the docks at Moore Point Campground, Prince Creek Campground, Flick Creek Campground, Corral Falls, Graham Harbor, and the Stehekin Marina docks. Safety Harbor dock burned in the Twentyfive Mile Fire; this area is open but without a dock.
Kayaks/canoes/paddleboards are asked to pull onto the shore and therefore don't need a dock permit for just entering/exiting.
