Easy Pass Trailhead

Provides access to Easy Pass and Fisher Creek Trail in the North Cascade National Park on the south side of the pass.

General Information

A national park backcountry permit is required for overnight camping in the national park. A permit can be obtained at the National Park Service office in Marblemount (360-845-7245) or at Methow Valley Ranger District in Winthrop (509-996-4000).

Restrictions:

  • No camping at the pass.
  • No horses, mountain bikes, and motorbikes.
  • No dogs in North Cascades National Park
  • No campfires at Fisher Camp or the Fisher Creek Basin - be sure to carry a stove if you plan an overnight stay. 

Parking Fee: A valid annual recreation pass (Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass) OR a $5 day pass is required to park at trailhead. Day pass can be paid in cash, check, or Scan and Pay at the trailhead.

Getting There

Directions

From Winthrop, drive about 40 miles west on State Route 20 (or 46 miles east from Marblemount) to Easy Pass Trailhead. The trailhead is on the south side of the highway between mileposts 151 and 152. The road is clearly signed for Easy Pass.
