South Creek Campground
This campground is located near the confluence of South Creek and the Twisp River and gives access to several trailheads for day hikes. Enjoy bicycling and scenic drives.
This campground gives access to the Twisp River Trail #440 and also gives access to the South Creek Trail #401 and nearby Scatter Creek Trail #427, which both go into the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness.
Reservations
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site.
General Information
(2 vehicles per site maximum) 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent maximum per site.
50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access. Applies to fee for site occupied by the pass holder.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $10 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night

Directions
From Twisp, drive west on paved Twisp River Road (County Road 9114) for 12 miles, then the county road becomes paved Forest Service Road 44. Continue straight on Forest Service Road 44, travel 5 miles, road turns into gravel and becomes Forest Service Road 4440. Continue straight on Forest Service Road 4440 for and additional 4 miles to South Creek Campground. (22 miles total from Twisp).
