Horse Creek North Trailhead

This is the northern trailhead for the Horse Creek Trail in the Drift Creek Wilderness. Horse Creek Trail can also be accessed from the Horse Creek South Trailhead.

Within developed recreation sites, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. 36 CFR 261.16(j)

Getting There

Directions

Travel 6.8 miles north of Waldport, Oregon on Highway 101 to Beaver Creek Road. On Beaver Creek Road travel 3.8 miles to Elk Horn Road #51. Turn right onto Elk Horn Road and travel 5.9 miles to Forest Road #50. On Forest Road #50 travel 1.4 miles turning right onto Forest Road #5087. On Forest Road #5087 travel 3.5 miles to the Horse Creek North Trailhead.
