Sandtracks Day Use

Sandtracks Day Use offers a great opportunity to play in the sand outside of an off highway riding area. Here you’ll have the opportunity to explore a forested dune ecosystem.

  • Sandtracks Picnic Area utilizes a portion of the old Horsfall Beach Road.

Open Year-Round, 6am-10pm daily

Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment.

Day use fee:
$5 per vehicle per day

Cash is not accepted at this location. Visitors can pay with a credit or debit card via the automated fee machine at the Horsfall Beach Road entrance station.

A variety of recreation passes will fulfill the day use fee. The Northwest Forest Pass, Oregon Pacific Coast Passport, digital day use pass, and interagency annual passes are valid at this location. 

Within developed recreation sites, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. 36 CFR 261.16(j)

Directions

From North Bend, Oregon drive north 1.5 miles turning west onto Transpacific Highway. Travel about one mile turning right onto Horsfall Beach Road. Sandtrack picnic area is located one mile on the left side of the road.
