From Corvallis, Oregon: Drive west on Hwy 20/34 through Philomath. When the two roads split, travel west (stay right) on Hwy 20 for 1.8 miles to Woods Creek Road. Turn left onto Woods Creek Road and continue 7.5 miles to the parking area before a locked gate. Woods Creek Road is paved for the first two miles and the remainder is gravel. Please do not block the gate when parking your vehicle.

The trail crosses the road just inside the gate and extends uphill (to the right) to the top of Mary’s Peak and downhill (to the left) to the Old Peak Road Junction.
