Echo Day Use and Boat Launch
Echo Day Use Area is a cool retreat on a hot summer day. The picnic sites are shaded by a grove of young Douglas fir and few of the picnic sites overlook Cougar Reservoir. The boat launch provides access to Cougar Reservoir.
East Fork, Lower Trailhead is adjacent to Echo Picnic Area.

Getting There
Directions
From Blue River, OR, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 to Aufderheide Drive (Forest Road 19).
Proceed south on Aufderheide Drive, taking a right at the Y and climbing to the top of Cougar Reservoir.
Turn east on Forest Road 1993, crossing Cougar Reservoir and winding around the lake 2 miles to Echo Picnic Area and Boat Launch.
