Fingerboard Prairie Trailhead
This trailhead provides access to:
- Deer Butte Trail #3508
- Benson Lake Trail #3502
- Scott Mountain Trail #4339
- Hand Lake Trail #3513

General Information
There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15 for entering the Mt. Washington Wilderness from this trailhead.
- Overnight Use
- Central Cascade Wilderness Permit (CCWP) between June 15 and October 15.
- Day Use
- Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.

Within developed recreation sites, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. 36 CFR 261.16(j)

Directions
From McKenzie Bridge, OR, travel east on Highway 126 for 8 miles to Forest Road 2649 (Scott Creek). Turn right on Forest Road 2649, heading uphill 8 miles to Forest Road 676. Turn left and drive to Fingerboard Prairie Trailhead at the end of the road.
