Jones Trailhead

From Lowell, OR, travel 2 miles north on the Lowell-Jasper Road, turn right at the Unity Bridge and proceed 15.7 miles on Big Fall Creek Road (Forest Road 18) to Bedrock Campground. When the campground is open, drive to the northwest corner of the campground. If the campground gates are closed, you will have to walk the distance to the trailhead.

There is a good parking area at the trailhead, which is for the Fall Creek National Recreation Trail #3455. Hike east on the Fall Creek National Recreation Trail #3455 for 0.75 mile to the junction of the Jones Trail.

The upper trailhead is reached by turning left from Fall Creek Road onto Forest Road 1817 which is 10.7 miles from the Unity junction. Proceed on Forest Road 1817 for 8 miles to the trailhead.
