General Information

Wilderness Self-Issue Permit required for both day use and overnight stays from June 15 through October 15. Free permits are self-issued at the trailhead.

Directions

From Sweet Home, Oregon, travel east on Highway 20 for 22.4 miles (milepost 51.5) and park in the area east of the state highway cinder stockpile.

The trailhead is located 50 yards back down the highway, across from Fernview Campground.
