Central Cascades Wilderness Permits are required between June 15 and October 15 for both day and overnight use at this trailhead. Check out Recreation.gov for more information or call 1-877-444-6777.

Within developed recreation sites, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. 36 CFR 261.16(j)

Getting There

Directions

From McKenzie Bridge, OR, drive east on Highway 126 about 2 miles to the junction of Highway 242. Travel northeast 17 miles on Highway 242 to Forest Road 260. Turn left (west) onto Forest Road 260, and take an immediate right, following a short spur road to the parking lot for Scott Trailhead.
