Tombstone Pass / Cone Peak Trailhead

Trailhead for Cone Peak Trail #3408 and Tombstone Nature Trail #3420.

Also provides access to Santiam Wagon Road Trail sections: Snow Creek Trail #3413 and Hackleman Trail #3413.

General Information

Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment. 

$5/vehicle/day

Within developed recreation sites, dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. 36 CFR 261.16(j)

Getting There

Directions

From Sweet Home, Oregon travel east on Highway 20 for 34.6 miles to Tombstone Pass. Hikers should park at Tombstone Pass Sno-Park rather than on the highway.

(To reach Cone Peak Trail, travel halfway down Tombstone Prairie Trail to where Cone Peak Trail connects on the left.)
