Mule Mountain Trail #3553.1

This trail is a short spur off of the Blair Lake Trail #3553. It leaves the Blair Lake Trail a short distance up the trail (northwest) from Forest Road 1934-730. This short climb up Mule Mountain offers outstanding views of Diamond Peak and the Three Sisters. The trail ends in a meadow at the top of Mule Mountain, a perfect place for a picnic.

Current Conditions
This trail has been impacted by the Cedar Creek Fire. Before visiting areas affected by wildfire, make sure to review the 4 Steps for Safety for recreating in burned areas.

Directions

From Oakridge, OR, at the traffic signal, turn onto Crestview, proceed over the overpass and turn right at the next intersection (East 1st Street). Travel through Oakridge to Forest Road 24 (Salmon Creek Road) and continue for approximately 3.5 miles to Forest Road 24-207. Turn right and proceed about 2.5 miles. The trailhead is located immediately west of Forest Road 251. This trail has a junction with the Eugene-to-Crest just a few feet from the trailhead.
