North Fork Trail #3666 (Segment 5)
The trail follows the North Fork of the Middle Fork Willamette River from Forest Road 1944 to the Shale Ridge Trailhead, Trail #3567. The trail tread maybe difficult to follow in places.

Directions
From Westfir, Oregon turn on Forest Road 19 (West Cascades Scenic Byway) for 27 miles to Forest Road 1944 and turn right. Follow Forest Road 1944 south for 0.25 mile to trailhead. The trail starts on the left side of the road.
