Trout Creek Day Use Area
Trout Creek Day Use site is located in the Trout Creek Campground, a fun, family campground situated along the South Santiam River, 20 miles east of the town of Sweet Home, Oregon. Many sites are right on the river, tucked under the cool shade of Douglas-fir and Hemlock trees.
- The Menagerie Wilderness is accessible from the Trout Creek Trailhead located directly across Highway 20.
- Due west is the historic Long Ranch that is now an Elk Refuge.
- Nearby is the Old Santiam Wagon Road.
