Passes
The Forest Service manages the national forests for multiple uses, including recreation, timber, wilderness, minerals, water, grazing, fish and wildlife. Our job is to help people share and enjoy the forest, while conserving the environment for future generations. To help us meet this goal, certain activities, such as firewood collection, require permits, while others, such as camping, benefit from passes.
“AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL PASSES” – Available at Wakulla Ranger District office (Apalachicola NF), Osceola Ranger District office (Osceola NF), Lake George Ranger District office (Ocala NF), Seminole Ranger District office (Ocala NF) and Forest Supervisors Office (Tallahassee):
- Annual Pass: $80 (12 months from month of purchase)
- Senior Annual Pass: $20 (age 62+, proof required)
- Senior Lifetime Pass: $80 (age 62+, proof required)
- Military Annual Pass: Free (active duty & dependents, ID required)
- Military Lifetime Pass: Free (Veterans, proof required)
- Access Pass: Free (Lifetime of pass holder)
- 4th Grade Pass: Free (Valid Sept 1 through Aug 31 of student’s 4th grade year)
- Volunteer Pass: Free (valid 12 months from issuance)

- Some Passes and discounts may not be accepted/applicable at Concessionaire managed recreation areas.
