Big Scrub Campground
Popular with OHV enthusiasts, the 47-site Big Scrub Campground is in the heart of the Big Scrub in the south central portion of the Ocala National Forest. A trailhead provides riders campsite-to-trail access for the Ocala Centennial Trail.
Camping
- Tents, campers and RVs are welcome at Big Scrub Campground, where we have showers, restrooms and drinkable water.
OHV Riding
- Campers with ATVs are also welcome, where there is direct access from the campground to the 47-mile Ocala Centennial Trail.

Licenses and Passes
OHV Riding
- To ride our OHV trails, you’ll need a pass and safety gear. Riders under 16 must pass an online course. Our OHV web page has all the information you need for a safe, enjoyable trip.
This site is seasonally closed. Gates open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Check-in: 3 p.m.
Check-out: 11 a.m.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $20 per night
$20 per campsite per night.
