Timberdoodle Flats Interpretive Trail
This trail is named after the American woodcock, also known as a timberdoodle, native to the eastern United States. Timberdoodle Flats offers self-guided interpretive trails with signage providing information about the environment around you.
The trailhead provides access to two short loop trails, the Bluebird Loop (0.5 mile) and the Woodcock Loop (1.25 miles). Both take visitors through a managed wildlife area with accessible flat, hardened trails.

- Travel on PA 770 W.for 10.9 miles.
- Turn right/west at PA 59 W.

This trail is named for the American woodcock, also known as the timberdoodle, that uses both the forest and open areas for mating and nesting.
