Haenel Special Use - Access to Private Property
The US Forest Service is proposing to issue a special use permit that would authorize operation of all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, and other low impact vehicles on existing routes in order to access private property. To accommodate the use, and prevent resource damage, some improvements to the existing route may be required. Improvements may include surfacing the existing roads with native material and the installation of drainage structures such as culverts. In some areas, brush growing within the travel way will need to be removed. Installation of drainage structures may involve the removal of a small number of trees.
