Knopper’s Ford, situated along Sugar Creek is a day use facility built by the CCC. It is accessible by passenger car or low clearance vehicle. Knopper’s Ford is popular with Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) and Equestrian enthusiasts, as it is a very short distance from the fabulous Sugar Creek Multi Use Recreation Trail.

The many miles of trails on the West Fork Ranger District provide opportunities ranging from short day-trips to extended back-country trips.
Ward Mountain Trailhead is just a small pull out on Roaring Lion Rd. It accesses Ward Mountain Trail #208. There are no facilities however, Sawtooth trailhead is located nearby and has more amenities.
Sawtooth Creek Trailhead has adequate parking for both cars and trailers. It offers access to Sawtooth Creek Trail #123 and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Facilities include hitching rails and a stock ramp.
Cayuse Creek Trailhead consists of a small parking area. Facilities include a small wooden outhouse and hitching rails.
Chicken-Deer Creek Trailhead has a large parking lot and offers access to Chicken Creek Trail #138 and Deer Creek Trail #139. There are no facilities.
Deep Creek Campground features 3 campsites complete with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet. Site will accept RV's or trailers to 30 feet. Stock can be kept in this campground.
Fales Flat Group Campground consists of four large picnic tables and 1 large fire ring. It is located in a meadow which offers plenty of area for large groups. Site also has a vault toilet.
Boulder Creek Horse Camp is located adjacent to Sam Billings Campground. The campground has 4 campsites which include fire rings, picnic tables, gravel tent sites and trailer parking. An additional 5th site is for group use and includes a fire ring and 16' table. There are two highlines and two hitching posts.
