Working Together
Taking care of the Cuser Gallatin National Forest requires the efforts of dedicated employees, partners and volunteers who contribute greatly to the successful management of forest resources. Without these efforts by our great partners some of our work would be difficult to complete.
Our partners come in all shapes and sizes and including grants and agreements memoranda of agreements, volunteer and youth programs conservation education activities and more. We work with a number of federal agencies, State of Montana, State of South Dakota, communities, conservation organizations, user groups, environmental organizations, non-profit organizations, universities, local school districts, public entities, and community members. Their assistance is provided through a number of avenues including various grants, partnerships, and volunteer efforts.
These partnerships allow us to work with our local communities to reach common goals. The main ingredients are mutual interest and benefit.
