sory Committees (RAC)
The Secure Rural Schools Resource Act Advisory Committee (RAC) provides recommendations to the Forest Service on the development and implementation of special projects on federal lands as authorized under the Secure Rural Schools Act and Community Self-Determination Act in Public Law 110-343. Each RAC consists of 15 people representing varied interests and areas of expertise, who work collaboratively to improve working relationships among community members and national forest personnel.

There are three resource advisory committees (RACs) serving the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Visit the individual committee sections for each RAC below. Look for the "+" on the right side to expand the options for additional information for each county RAC, including meeting information.
Trinity and Shasta County RAC are now accepting project proposals
- The Trinity County RAC is no longer accepting project proposals
- The Shasta County RAC is accepting project proposals now through Thursday, November 10, 2022. Please submit proposals to monique.rea@usda.gov
- The Siskiyou County RAC is not currently accepting project proposals
