Parkside Campground and Group Campsites

Parkside Campground is south of Red Lodge, along the banks of the Main Fork of Rock Creek. It is near the base of the switchbacks of the Beartooth Scenic Highway. Mount Maurice Trail (#6), Corral Creek Trail (#9), Bear Track Trail (#8), Lake Fork Trail (#2), Parkside National Recreation Trail (#103), Hellroaring Plateau Trail (#11), Glacier Lake Trail (#3), Sheridan Campground, Rattin Campground, Greenough Lake Campground, Limber Pine Campground and M-K Campground are also located in the Main Fork Rock Creek drainage.

- Firewood: Yes- $7.00 / bundle. Don't move firewood to other areas or bring in outside firewood. Prevent the spread of tree-killing insects by obtaining firewood near your destination or purchasing it from the campground host.
May 26-September 8th-Full service, During these dates there is a fee to stay in the campground.
Reduced service in shoulder season:
This campground is maintained from May to September (call district office for exact season dates). Outside of the peak summer dates, the campground is ungated, free, and available for use (no services, not maintained, roads are not plowed). If you visit outside the peak fee season, please bring your own water, toilet paper (outhouse will remain open), and please pack out your trash.
There is a 16 day maximum stay in all Beartooth Ranger District campgrounds.

Directions
Directions from Beartooth Ranger District office:
Drive south on US Hwy 212, towards Cooke City, for 10.7 miles. Turn right on the Main Fork Rd (Forest Road 2421). Drive 0.4 miles to the entrance to Parkside Campground.
