Forest Order

Pursuant to Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations 261.50(b) the following acts are prohibited on a portion of National Forest System Road 96 west of the County Roads 57 and 96 intersection on the Pawnee National Grassland in Weld County, Colorado. The restricted road is depicted on the attached map hereby incorporated into this order as Exhibit A. The purpose of this Order is to provide for public safety (36 CFR § 261.53(e)) and protection of property (36 CFR § 261.53(f)). 

PROHIBITIONS IN THE RESTRICTED AREA: 1. Using any type of motor vehicle. 36 CFR § 261.54(a) EXEMPTIONS: Pursuant to 36 CFR, Section § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this order: 1. Persons with a USDA Forest Service permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of any official duty. This Order supersedes, rescinds and replaces Order 10-06-2012-01, signed March 9, 2012. This Order will be in effect when signed and shall remain in effect until rescinded.
