Forest Order
Pursuant to 16 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 551 and 36 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) § 261.50(b), the following act is prohibited on National Forest System Road 219 (the “Restricted Road”) on the Pawnee National Grassland in Weld County, Colorado. The Restricted Road is located in T8N R64W, Sec. 11, E 1/2, 6th PM, as depicted on the attached map, hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A. The purpose of this Order is to provide for public health and safety and natural resource protection.
PROHIBITIONS: Being on the Road. 36 C.F.R. § 261.54(e).
EXEMPTIONS: Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this order: 1. Persons on foot. 2. Persons with a US Forest Service permit specifically authorizing the prohibited act or omission may be exempt from the Prohibition. 3. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of any official duty. This Order supersedes, rescinds and replaces Order # ARP-PNG-2014-02 signed on April 9, 2014. This Order will be in effect when signed and shall remain in effect until it is rescinded.
