Forest Order

Pursuant to 36 Section CFR 261.50 (a), the following acts are prohibited within the Roosevelt National Forest until further notice: RAM'S HORN Going into or being upon the area commonly known as Ram's Horn between April 1 and July 30, of each year. 36 CFR 261.53 (a). Pursuant to 36 CFR, Section 261.50 (e), the following persons are exempt from the order: 1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty. The area closed is an area containing the rock formation known as Ram's Horn, as shown on the attached map, and further described as T4N R73W, NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 section 10, NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 section 11, and that portion of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of section 3 within the National Forest boundary.
