Colorado State Highway 7 Recreation Improvements Plan
In 2009 the Boulder Ranger District of the Roosevelt National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park teamed up to develop and propose a variety of recreation improvement projects to address operational concerns, public concerns and improve the recreation experience along the Highway 7 corridor. The Boulder Ranger District has drafted a decision for only the National Forest System projects shown in the 2009 EA. These include projects at the Meeker Park Campground, the Meeker Park Picnic Ground, and the roads and user created trails in proximity to the Meeker Park Campground. The project area is north of Allenspark, CO
