Herman Gulch Trail - CDT Segment

Current Conditions
Reduced capacity 6/1-6/22: A new vault toilet will be installed. Construction equipment and staging will take up approximately half the parking lot, so please plan accordingly and leave plenty of space for workers.

Beginning at the Herman Gulch Trailhead, starting on an old sawmill road, the trail emerges out of the forested trees within a few miles. The subalpine flowers add beauty to an otherwise rocky terrain. Towards the top of the trail, rock cairns lead the way to Herman Lake. This trail is a section of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.
