Mount Nystrom Trail

The Mt. Nystrom Trail (#13) begins as an old road through the Fraser Experimental Forest for 5.5 miles. Once exiting the Experimental Forest, the single-track trail begins and follows the edge of the Vasquez Peak Wilderness. After several miles, the trail reaches Mt. Nystrom (12,652 feet) and then turns east. The trail passes Stanley Mountain (12,521 feet) and eventually ends at the Winter Park Resort. The trail is 5.5 miles from Mt. Nystrom Trailhead to the start of the Mt. Nystrom Trail and 19.9 miles from the end of the road to the Winter Park Resort. These distances are one-way.
