Tunnel Campground

This campground is located along the Laramie River Road (County Road 103) near the confluence of the West Branch Laramie River and the Laramie River. It is situated in a mature lodgepole pine forest where the mountain pine beetle has been very active. As a result, many dead trees have been cut to provide for visitor safety. Each of the 49 sites has a picnic table, fire grate, bear locker and tent pad. 

Reservations

First come, first served campground.

General Information

A single site may hold up to eight people. Tents must fit on the pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur because driving or parking off road is not permitted. The parking length ranges from 25 to 70 feet.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $28 per night

Directions

Drive 10 miles north of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287.Turn left (west) onto Highway 14. Drive approximately 50 miles and turn right (north) onto County Road 103 (Laramie River Road). It is approximately seven miles to the campground entrance, which is on the west side of the road.
