Shasta County Resource Advisory Committee Upcoming Meeting

REDDING, Calif., April 18, 2025— The Shasta County Resource Advisory Committee has two 
upcoming meetings in the Federal Register (https://www.federalregister.gov/) in April 2025 to 
review project proposals through the Secure Rural Schools Act.

The two upcoming meetings will be held on April 23 and April 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the 
Shasta-Trinity Supervisors Office, 3644 Avtech Parkway in Redding. During this meeting, the 
Shasta County Resource Advisory Committee will review and recommend projects for 
implementation within Shasta County under Title II of the Secure Rural Schools Act.

Title II projects may include those with broad-based support and with objectives that include road, 
trail, and infrastructure maintenance or obliteration, soil productivity improvement, forest ecosystem 
health improvements, watershed restoration and maintenance, wildlife and fish habitat restoration, 
maintenance and improvement, noxious and exotic weeds control, and native species re-establishment.
