Elk Late-Successional Reserve Enhancement Project
Reduce tree densities and fuel loads with thinning and fuels treatments on approximately 3,420 acres in the Elk Flat Late-Successional Reserve and adjacent matrix lands to protect current late/mid-successional habitat and develop future late-successional habitat conditions. Meadow conditions in Elk Flat outside of the LSR will also be restored. Access Google Earth files for this project.
