Hyampom Fire Resilient Community
The Hyampom Fire Safe Council has worked with the Shasta-Trinity National Forest to develop a set of treatments across the landscape to both protect the community and limit the spread of fire. Treatments include buffers along primary and secondary access roads; strategic fuelbreaks; and supporting landscape level treatments. The Fire Safe Council is meeting with the community to refine the project proposal.
