Bailey Cove Public Boat Ramp

Located on the lower McCloud River Arm in the Bailey Cove facilities area. There are two launching lanes available until the lake level drops to 50 feet. Picnicking, restrooms, fee. (Not recommended on summer weekends due to excessive congestion. Consider using Packers Bay.) Adjoining facilities include a campground, trail and day use area. A short distance from this facility is the Holiday Harbor Marina, Lakeview Marina and Shasta Caverns. There is a camp host at this facility during the summer months.

Day use only; no overnight camping allowed

Season Passes are available from the Shasta Recreation Company at www.shastatrinitycamping.com or by calling 530-275-8113. Interagency Recreation Passes: Holders of Senior and Access Passports are entitled to a 50% discount.

Day Use: $17/vehicle/day.

Fee: A daily use fee of $17 is required at all public ramps.

Directions

From I 5, take exit 695 OBrien/Shasta Caverns exit. Turn right at end of off ramp. Continue along Shasta Caverns road for four tenths of a mile to the Bailey Cove junction on the right side of the road. Turn right and follow road about six tenths of a mile to the ramp parking located on the right of the facility.
