Forest Order

Pursuant to Title 36 CPR 261.50(b), the following act is prohibited on a designated portion of National Forest System Road No. 5010 as shown on the attached map within the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests.


1. Using any type of vehicle prohibited by the order. For the purpose of this order, this restriction prohibits the use of all motorized vehicles on a portion of East Chewuch Road No. 5010 (T37N R22E Sec. 17) between the locked gates within the Twentymile Creek drainage. [36 CPR 261.54(a)]


This restriction is effective April 1 to July 15 annually.


Pursuant to 36 CPR 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this order:
1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission.
2. Any Federal, State or local officer, or member of any organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.


These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CPR Part 261, subpart A.
