Jack Trout Trailhead
This trailhead provides access to the Jack Creek Trail #1558 and the Trout Creek Trail #1555. Both of these trails are within Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
General Information
- Wilderness Permit Required: To enter this wilderness, visitors need to fill out a free permit at the trailhead.

Restrictions:
- Non-motorized vehicles, no bicycles.
- Campfires prohibited above 5,000 feet.
- Maximum group size is twelve (total number of people and stock).
- Day Use: $5/vehicle/day (cash/check/digital)
- Recreation Passes honored: Digital Day Use Pass, Northwest Forest Pass, Interagency Recreation Passes.
Getting There
Directions
From Leavenworth, turn onto Icicle Road/Forest Road 7600 and continue straight for about 16 miles. Stay left on Forest Road 7600 after passing Icicle Gorge trailhead, then turn left on Forest Road 615.
