Getting There
Directions
From Wenatchee: travel north on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 28.5 miles up to Shady Pass Road (Forest Road 5900). County Road #19 becomes Forest Road #51 at 27 miles. Travel north for 8 miles on Shady Pass Road. Turn left on Forest Road 112 and travel 1.9 miles to the Big Hill Cabin where the trailhead is.
From Chelan: travel south on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 19.3 miles to Entiat. Just before the bridge turn right onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 28.5 miles up to Shady Pass Road (Forest Road 5900). County Road #19 becomes Forest Road 51 at 27 miles.Travel north for 8 miles on Shady Pass Road. Turn left on Forest Road 112 and travel 1.9 miles to the Big Hill Cabin where the trailhead is.
