7.5-Minute Quadrangle Topographic Maps

Quadrangle Maps provide the most detailed depiction of terrain on the Umpqua National Forest. They display a small area of 50 to 70 square miles and are ideal for backcountry or cross-country travel by foot.

Material: Generally made of paper. Some maps are black and white, while others are color.

Scale: 1:24,000 (2.64 inches to the mile)

Obtain a Map:

  • ​Purchase a hardcopy map from the USGS Store. Use our index to locate the map you need.
  • Download free electronic maps from the FSGeoData Clearinghouse. Maps are available in three different formats: PDF, GeoTIFF, and Vector data.
