General Information
Wilderness self issue permit needed if you head into the Diamond Peak Wilderness from the Deer Creek Trail.
Getting There
Directions
From Oakridge, Oregon, travel east on Highway 58 for 25.5 miles east towards Willamette Pass to Forest Road 5899 (MP 61.5).
Turn right on Forest Road 5899 and proceed 1 mile toward Pengra Pass.
Follow Forest Road 5899-505 to the right for approximately 1.5 miles, turn right on Forest Road 5899-501 and proceed towards Abernethy and the trailhead, which located on the left side of the road.
