Wahanna Trail #3583

This easily walked trail encounters no steep grades, and accesses the following points: Eastern Brook Lake, Emma Lake, Whig & Torrey Way Trail #3581, Wahanna Lake, Harvey Lake, Lake Kiwa, Rigdon Lakes trail and Dam Camp at the outlet of Waldo Lake. Just past Wahanna Lake is a short (0.3 mile) steep side-trail down to Harvey Lake. The Wahanna trail travels through pine, fir, and hemlock forests and small meadows. The trail overlaps Waldo Lake Trail for less than a quarter of a mile beyond Dam Camp, where it veers west to Chetlo Lake and ends at Salmon Lakes Trail #3585.

Be sure to camp 200 feet or more off the shoreline and follow Leave No Trace methods so those after you can enjoy their stay. Mosquitoes go quickly after every warm-blooded animal passing through the first half of the season.
