East Lake Campsites
Three primitive campsites are located on the 53 acre East Lake. East Lake has fishing for largemouth bass, perch, bluegill and bullheads. There is no drinking water at this location. A boat access is located just past site #1. It is unimproved, shallow and sandy. Carry-in access is recommended.

Reservations through Columbus Day. No services/no reservations/no fees after that time Columbus Day through May 15.

Camping at East Lake is by reservation only. Walk ins are not allowed. These sites may be reserved for up to 14 days. Reservations are made on our national recreation reservation system. To check availability of the campsites or to make a reservation, call 877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov .
Camping fee is $8 per night per site. Federal Recreation Passes (Golden/America the Beautiful) are accepted.

Directions
From Manistique drive north 25 miles on M-94 to FR 2246 (Clear Lake Road). Turn right (east) and drive 0.15 mile to FR 2661. Turn right (southeast) and drive 0.25 mile south of Forest Road 2246 on the hard-pack, sandy road. M-94122462661CampsiteCarry
