Biking
We know that many of you are eager to hit the trails. In order to avoid resource damage to our steeper trails (such as Bruno's Run) our trails manager encourages bikers to hold off until after spring thaw has passed. Check here for updates, so you'll know when the frost is out of the ground. Thank you for your "Tread Lightly" ethic.
Please note that our biking trails are designated "non-motorized." In keeping with agency direction, non-motorized trails are not open to eBikes. eBikes are welcome to use our Motorized Vehicle Use Maps to explore the over 2000 miles of Hiawatha roads and trails open to motorized use.
