Soldier Lake Campground
Soldier Lake Campground can be accessed from M-28, which leads to some of the best sight-seeing in the Upper Peninsula Michigan! Campers will experience a remote, relaxing experience far removed from highway noise. Access to the North Country National Scenic Trail is just off the parking area. Soldier Lake Can Accommodate Large Groups
- A spacious picnic area can accommodate large groups.
- The picnic area has tables, grills, water, and vault toilets.
- There is a large grassy area for games.
- A large picnic shelter, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, is available for protection from a sudden shower.
- The shelter has tables and a fireplace for when the weather turns chilly.
- Please be sure that all fires, whether in grills, fire rings, or the picnic shelter, are dead out before leaving.

From the intersection of M-28 and I-75 drive west on M-28 22.4 miles to Forest Road 3138. Turn left (south) on FR3138 and drive one mile to Soldier Lake Campground.
